You are exactly right Bernie. Not only do they pay for all the entertainment things like video games, rent movies, buy a Nintendo WII system $400 or more in cost but other things that are unnecessary but can't afford health insurance. Now there are those that cannot afford health insurance because it is too high and I agree that insurance companies sometimes charge too much. At the same time when you get to my age you use a lot of it at times in meds, surgeries, physical therapy. But we also have paid into it all our life too. Just leave the Seniors and those becoming senior citizens alone. I don't like what I am hearing about too many people in nursing homes, having to go to meetings on "learning how to die." This in itself is discrimination against our aged people. I agree something needs to be done but people better keep being concerned about this plan until it has had enough time to be worked out properly.
